NEW HOPE MINISTRY at Compass is a short-term, biblically based counseling ministry available to those seeking help with life challenges. Proverbs 19:20 Get all the advice and instruction you can so you will be wise the rest of your life.
The Word of God is a central tool used to equip lay leaders, and provides thorough instruction, and solutions, regarding the problems of life. Our purpose is to minister to people by encouraging them to draw a circle around themselves, have self-awareness, and take responsibility for their actions.
OUR BELIEFS:
Biblical change can only happen with a true saving relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Acts 4:12 There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.
The Word of God is inerrant and sufficient for all the spiritual needs in matters of godliness.
- 2 Peter 1:3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence.
As Christians we are called to holiness and obedience.
- 1 Peter 1:15,16 But now you must be holy in everything you do, just as God who chose you is holy. For the Scriptures say, “You must be holy because I am holy".
