Volunteering At Dorothy's Kitchen
Dorothy’s Kitchen is a full-service, commercial kitchen serving delicious meals to the homeless of Salinas.
Compass Church has been financially supporting Dorothy’s Kitchen for many, many years. We also send a group of volunteers to make and distribute sack lunches to the homeless of Salinas every 4th Sunday of the month from 10am – 2pm.
Please help us be the “church outside the walls” by volunteering for one of these opportunities! Duties include making sandwiches, assembling, and distributing the lunches, and clean-up.

Young Life
Our Mission
To introduce kids to Jesus Christ and help them grow in their faith.
Young Life Salinas desires to secure the future promise of every student. Given the
challenges affecting our teens, we must meet them with resources designed to do more
than fill empty time. Relational connection forms the root of our mentorship endeavors.
In this way, we can dismantle the sense of isolation and disconnection that pervades so
much of adolescence. We want Monterey County teens to know they are valued,
accepted, and supported. Only then will their achievements carry the weight of
character and conviction.
One of our ongoing approaches involves providing a safe place for students to
come before and after school. Students have a place where they can grab a meal,
talk to their mentors and do their schoolwork. ​ In addition to providing a meal, we work
on a craft or activity, take time to play games and laugh together, and present a
message about life relevant to their needs.

The OC Global Alliance (OC GA) is an association of 15 sending centers spread across the world that share a common vision, mission, values, and strategy. This commitment to partnership multiplies the love of Jesus to grow new believers in the global church.
Rancho Santa Marta
Rancho Santa Marta is a non-denominational Evangelical Christian Ministry for at risk, abandoned, and special needs Mexican children. It is located on a 450 acre working ranch, about 66 miles south of Ensenada, in San Vicente, Baja California.
Rancho Santa Marta was established in February 1980 by Bill and Kaye Lawrence to help at risk and special needs /abandoned children learn personal and working responsibilities based on Christian principles. It is now managed by their son-in-law and daughter, Rod and Tina Truiksma.
The vision of Rancho Santa Marta is to not only provide food, clothes, a home, and medical care for these children, but to also provide an education, and most of all to give them the opportunity to know Jesus as their Savior.

News of the Lord Jesus Christ. Our special mission in CEF is to evangelize every child. In
the last ministry year our workers worldwide reached over 29.2 million children! Strategic
ministry choices such as Good News Club in public schools and concentrating on high
potential growth countries will help us reach this goal.

Hope Mountain
Our Mission
To transform the lives of children who are
victim-survivors of sexual abuse and exploitation; to empower every child to move from helpless victim to thriving survivor.
Hope Mountain Center is a safe refuge of hope, healing, and restoration for children (both boys and girls) rescued from online sexual abuse and exploitation (OSEC).
Hope Mountain Center also serves children that are victim-survivors of other (non-OSEC) forms of abuse including rape and sexual molestation.
The overall goal is to enable and help children (both boys and girls) who are victim-survivors of sexual abuse and exploitation restore their normal social functioning and regain their self-worth and dignity through the programs and services provided by Hope Mountain Center.
4D Ministries
4D is all about empowering Central and Eastern European churches in fulfilling their
mission of spreading the Gospel, nurturing new believers toward growth, connecting
them with others, and sending them out for service.
We do this by connecting them with partners from across the world and making different
resources available, to help them become more outward looking and fruitful. Or much
simpler said – we are dedicated to putting the wind in their sails.
Confidence Pregnancy Center
Confidence Pregnancy Center provides free and confidential educational, and support
services to women and men facing an unplanned pregnancy or sexual health concern.
At Confidence Pregnancy Center, our staff continuously provide a professional and safe
environment for those who walk through our doors. You will find a group of caring
individuals who are committed to walking with you every step of the way. If you are
facing a pregnancy or sexual health-related matter with even a hint of uncertainty, we
invite you to come. Let’s talk confidently. Let’s thoroughly explore your options so that
you can make an informed choice.
