At the Movies: The GOAT

We'll discover what it truly means to be great by looking at Jesus example of humility, character, and serving together.

Theme: Wear your favorite sports jersey or team apparel!

Preschool (Birth–Kindergarten)

At Compass Kids Preschool, we're passionate about partnering with families to help children know and follow Jesus from an early age. Every weekend, your child will experience a fun, safe, and engaging environment filled with age-appropriate Bible teaching, worship, games, crafts, and hands-on activities designed just for them.

We use the Orange First Look Preschool Curriculum, a trusted curriculum that helps preschoolers discover who God is, how much He loves them, and how they can grow in their faith through interactive lessons and memorable Bible stories.

This Month's Lesson

Get ready for an exciting month of learning! This September, our curriculum revolves around a wonderful and comforting theme: "God is always with me." To help keep this truth close to their hearts, our memory verse for the month is Joshua 1:9: "God is with you wherever you go."

Here is what we have planned for the kids each week:

• Week One: Daniel and the Lions 🦁 We are kicking things off with a thrilling story! Kids will learn how Daniel was thrown into a den of lions, but God was right there with him, keeping him completely safe by shutting the lions' mouths.
• Week Two: Hagar and Ishmael 💧 We will head to the desert to see how God hears us when we are upset. Kids will learn how God heard Ishmael crying and provided Hagar with a well of water just when they needed it most.
• Week Three: Joseph 👑 We will follow the incredible, winding journey of Joseph. From being in Egypt to sitting in a jail cell, all the way to living in Pharaoh’s palace—kids will see how God never left Joseph's side.
• Week Four: Jonah 🐋 We are wrapping up the month with a huge splash! Kids will discover how Jonah stayed safe even while in the belly of a giant fish, and how he used that time to pray and talk to God.



It's going to be a fantastic month filled with amazing adventures that will show your kids they are never alone!

Compass Youth Middle School Min­istry is for stu­dents in 6th-8th grade.

Our mis­sion is to make dis­ci­ples by part­ner­ing with par­ents to build up the next gen­er­a­tion of lead­ers who seek, serve, and share Christ. We accom­plish this mis­sion through small groups, min­istry events, stu­dent lead­er­ship, camps, activ­i­ties, and more. We want your stu­dent to be con­nect­ed and grow­ing in their faith.
