Compass Kids Elementary

(1st-5th Grade)

Welcome to Compass Kids Elementary!

We believe every child is uniquely created by God, deeply loved by Jesus, and designed with purpose. We desire to partner with families as children grow in their faith, build meaningful friendships, and discover what it means to follow Christ.

At Compass Kids, we don't simply teach Bible stories—we teach God's Word with the hope that every child will come to know Jesus personally. While Biblical truth is the foundation of everything we do, our greatest desire is to help children develop a genuine, life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ. Through engaging lessons, heartfelt worship, meaningful conversations, and caring leaders, we strive to create an environment where children can experience God's love, grow in their faith, and confidently walk with Him every day.

Each weekend, kids experience a safe, exciting, and engaging environment where Biblical truth comes alive through dynamic teaching, worship, games, object lessons, small groups, and hands-on activities. Every lesson is designed to help children understand God's Word and apply it to their everyday lives.

Our incredible team of trained and background-checked volunteers is passionate about helping every child feel welcomed, known, valued, and encouraged as they take their next step in following Jesus.

This Month's Theme: Jesus Brings Truth

This September, our elementary kids are embarking on an exciting journey to discover how Jesus revealed God’s truth to the world. Throughout the month, we will explore how Jesus used His powerful words, compassionate actions, and amazing miracles to teach people about God's love.

We will also anchor our lessons with a foundational "Big Picture" question: Is the Bible true? Together, the kids will learn that they can completely trust God's Word without a doubt!

Here is what we will be exploring each week:

• Session One: Learning through Parables (Matthew 13, Mark 4, Luke 8) We will see how Jesus used everyday stories to teach people profound spiritual lessons about who God is.
• Session Two: The Kingdom of God (Matthew 13, Mark 4) Kids will discover God's ultimate rescue plan—that He wants us to be saved from sin and experience a beautiful, forever life with Him in His Kingdom.
• Session Three: Power Over the Storm (Matthew 8, Mark 4, Luke 8) We will look at the incredible moment Jesus calmed a raging sea, showing the children His awesome power and reminding them that they can find peace in Him during scary times.
• Session Four: Healing and New Life (Matthew 9, Mark 5, Luke 8) We wrap up the month by witnessing Jesus’s deep compassion and authority as He brings miraculous healing and life to those who are hurting.
