Coronavirus and Compass

There is a lot of fear with this epidemic and real risk, especially for some age groups.

As you know, the State has mandated no assemblies larger than 250. That, plus some other stipulations, including age considerations, make it impossible for us to hold a normal worship service.

Therefore, for the sake of everyone’s health we have no choice but to suspend ALL gatherings at COMPASS for at least 2 weeks when we will reassess. The marriage retreat this weekend,
women Wednesday, Padre worship morning and night, Marina, etc. are suspended for 2 weeks.

However, our choir and orchestra and I will produce our normal service on Live Stream for you, except to an empty worship center.

It is still the Lord’s Day. I hope you will turn on Live Stream and enjoy worship and be fed by my 2nd in this series on THE BOOK OF REVELATION – Jesus’ letter to the Christians in Smyrna who are
suffering because they would not compromise. It is a fantastic letter of encouragement to anyone in hard times.

The expenses of Compass continue. Please give online or mail your offering. Our church cannot survive a drop in giving due to this virus.

And join me in praying for the health of people, the end to the Coronavirus, and the country’s economy.

Blessings,
Pastor Mike
